A $2,000 quote is still a $2,000 quote.
For a fictional $2,000 agreement with a 25% deposit, the sender pays the $19.95 finalization fee separately. The quote’s $500 deposit and $1,500 balance go through the quote-payment flow to the recipient’s connected Stripe account.
The $19.95 is not a deposit, is not deducted from the $2,000, and is not held in escrow. Any applicable payment-processing fees are separate from the Quotifier finalization fee.

Who pays the fee?
The original sender pays the finalization fee and is also the payer of the quote. The invited recipient is the payee and completes Stripe Connect Express setup to receive quote payments.
What if we edit the quote?
Before finalization, a saved edit resets both signatures. Both people sign the new revision before finalization becomes available again. Finalized agreements cannot be edited.
Can I pay the quote first?
Quote payment unlocks only after the finalization fee is confirmed. Recipient payment-account readiness is also required. A deposit is followed by the remaining balance.
